Stand-up comedy show by Robin Morgan at Komedia, drawing on his life experiences and work in comedy.
Robin Morgan brings his show Silly Goose to Komedia on Friday 26 November, playing in the Studio. If you've caught him on the telly or the radio, this is a chance to see him live in Brighton.
He's a stand-up and a broadcaster, and you've likely come across him without even realising it. He's been a star of Mock The Week, a presenter on Radio 4's The News Quiz, and the host of the award-winning BBC Wales panel show What Just Happened?. He co-hosts the podcasts For Wales, See Wales, and Speaking As A Mother, co-created Ellie Taylor's Safe Space for BBC Radio 4, and hosts a weekly Sunday show on BBC Radio Wales. He's also written for Have I Got News For You, The Last Leg, and 8 Out of 10 Cats, and works as the studio warm-up artist for The Graham Norton Show. On the road, he's supported Ellie Taylor, Iain Stirling, Sophie McCartney, Russell Kane, and Adam Kay.
Now in his mid-thirties, he's drawing on his own life for the material: group chats full of dread conversations about pensions and house renovations, injuries sustained on a weekly basis, and two children growing up fast. There's also a true story about being viciously attacked by a goose as a sixteen-year-old, which gives the show its title. Critics have called him a master of crowdwork, so expect him to be talking to the room as much as he's working through his set.
