Live music gig by the American rock band Restraining Order, presented by Burning Water, at The Hope & Ruin.
Restraining Order play The Hope & Ruin on Saturday 5 December, presented by Burning Water. It's a US act making the trip over to Brighton, and they're the only name on the bill for the night.
The venue is 10-12 Queens Road, BN1 3WA. It's a 150-capacity room situated above a busy pub, and it hosts live shows from local and international artists alongside a regular poetry night and the odd late-night club. There's a bar serving draft lagers, beers, ciders and its own Hope & Ruin Mosaic Pale Ale, plus a ground-floor bar to hang out in before and after gigs. The venue stays open until midnight Sunday to Wednesday and until 2am Thursday to Saturday, so there's plenty of time to linger around the pub downstairs if you're not in a rush to head home.
