Red Snapper play The Arch in Brighton for the 20th anniversary of their debut album 'Prince Blimey', performing it in its entirety.
Red Snapper play The Arch on Wednesday 5 May, and the night is built around a specific anniversary. They're celebrating twenty years since the release of their debut album, Prince Blimey, and they'll be playing it in its entirety.
If you're not familiar with them, Red Snapper are a British instrumental band formed in London in 1993. They've spent their career working a fusion of acoustic instruments and electronic production, and that's exactly what Prince Blimey set out to do. Because they're an instrumental act, the focus stays on the playing rather than a singer leading the way, and since they're running the whole album from start to finish, you'll hear the record as it was intended rather than a handful of highlights mixed in with other stuff.

It's a particular kind of gig — a full-album performance — so it works as well if you know the record inside out as it does if you've never heard it before. The Arch is at 187-193 Kings Road Arches, BN1 1NB, and the night starts at 18:30. Standard tickets are £23.70, which is a guide price and subject to change.
