The band’s sound is often noted for its blend of 60s beat and proto-punk, characterised by hollering vocals and guitar work that has been compared to the atmosphere of the downtown New York scene of the mid-70s. They have recently released their second album, Two Wrongs Don't Make A Right, which became available on 1 May. Their latest single, "Heart Out", reflects this energy, combining those retro influences with a DIY approach that defines their current output. It is a sound that leans into a raw, energetic aesthetic, which should translate well to the intimate setting of The Prince Albert.
If you are planning to head down, the performance is scheduled to run from 20:00 to 23:00. The event is restricted to those aged 18 and over. Tickets are currently available through various platforms, including See Tickets, Ticketmaster, DICE, and Viagogo. Depending on the booking platform, prices range from £12.50 to £14.10. It is a straightforward setup at the venue, suitable for anyone interested in the current post-punk circuit or those following the band's recent release. Given the venue's location on Trafalgar Street, it is easily accessible for those already familiar with the local music scene in Brighton.
