Ray O'Leary: Laughter? I Hardly Know Her!

Ray O'Leary is playing The Forge Comedy Club on Thursday 11 February 2027, with the show starting at 6:30pm. It's a stand-up night, and he's the main feature of the evening, performing under the title Laughter? I Hardly Know Her!.

For those who haven't come across him yet, O'Leary is a stand-up comedian, and this is a full show of his work. The title itself—Laughter? I Hardly Know Her!—is a play on the old 'liquor? I hardly know her' joke, which gives you a fair idea of the kind of wordplay and punchy, observational humour he works with. It's a stand-up set in the traditional sense: one person on stage with a microphone, working through a night of material.

The venue is The Forge Comedy Club, tucked away in the Ironworks Studios at 30 Cheapside, BN1 4GD. It's a dedicated comedy space, so you'll find the room set up for a night of stand-up rather than a multi-purpose hall. If you're coming from the city centre, it's a short trip over to the Cheapside area.

Tickets start from £20, and the show kicks off at 6:30pm on the Thursday, so it's a mid-week night out rather than a weekend one. If you're fancying a night of stand-up in Brighton, that's the basic run-down: Ray O'Leary at The Forge Comedy Club, Thursday 11 February, 6:30pm, from £20.
