A night of stand-up comedy featuring Joe Wilkinson, Angela Barnes, Dinesh Nathan and James Ellis, hosted by Rich Wilson, to support YMCA Brighton.
Raising The Roof 2 is at Komedia on Monday 19 October, a stand-up night that brings together four comics to raise money for YMCA Brighton. The charity works across the city, providing safe accommodation, support and pathways to independence for adults.
Joe Wilkinson is on the bill, known for his deadpan humour. Angela Barnes is described as self-aware and warm. Dinesh Nathan is an award-winning observer with precise timing, and James Ellis turns everyday moments into comedy. Rich Wilson hosts the night.
It's the second edition of the fundraiser, with the line-up pulling from different styles of stand-up. Wilkinson's deadpan sits alongside Barnes' warmer approach, Nathan's observational timing and Ellis' focus on the ordinary, and Wilson keeps the evening moving between them.
