Pride after party with Kylie Wears Berghaus and Jake Reed, presented by Patterns. 18+ event.
Kylie Wears Berghaus and Jake Reed are taking over Patterns on Friday 31 July for a Pride after party. It's an 18+ night, so keep that in mind if you're bringing a younger crowd along.
If the name sounds familiar but doesn't quite ring a bell, it's because Kylie Wears Berghaus used to go by Kylie Goes Berghain. They've built a reputation as an edit-sensation, and they're sharing the bill with Jake Reed for the evening. Together they'll be heading up the party, which Patterns is presenting as part of the Pride celebrations.
Patterns itself is at 10 Marine Parade, right on the seafront. It opened in 2015 on the site of a former art deco hotel, and over the years it's become a hub for the city's underground club culture as well as a respected small live music venue. The building has a deep musical heritage, too: it previously housed Ted Potters Music Bar and the infamous Escape Club, and it's picked up a nomination for best club at the DJ Mag awards for its contribution to the scene.
