Porcelain Doll launch gig celebrating the release of Beauty and Control (Part 2), with support from Watching Alice and Hissy and the Fits.
Porcelain Doll are playing The Hope & Ruin on Saturday 8 August, their EP launch gig for Beauty and Control (Part 2). It's a Brighton date for the release, so the set will be built around the new material they've just put out. If you've been following them, this is the night they bring the record to the stage.
They aren't playing alone, either. Opening the bill are Watching Alice and Hissy and the Fits, so there are two support acts to get through before Porcelain Doll take over. It makes for a full night of music rather than just a single set, with three bands in total sharing the bill.
The whole thing is centred on Beauty and Control (Part 2), the EP they're celebrating. As a launch gig, the new songs take centre stage, and the night is built around that release. If you've had the record on repeat, this is the first chance to hear those tracks played live in the city.
