Concert featuring Pancho, a Brighton DIY post-hardcore project, and Inventory, a Copenhagen alt-rock band, at The Prince Albert.
Pancho and Inventory play The Prince Albert on Sunday 14 February, a double bill presented by sugar-free. It's an over-18s night, and the music runs from 19:30 to 22:30.
Pancho is a Brighton DIY side project that got going in 2024, with Chris Collis on drums, Glen Hodgson on guitar, and Joe Kent on bass. They describe it as a no-strings, low-pressure outlet for playing tiny basement shows and writing whatever they like. They recorded in autumn 2025, and their first EP came out in 2026 on BSM & Sofa Boy Records, blending post-hardcore energy, Midwest emo delivery, and math-rock complexity. If you've followed the members from their other work, you'll recognise the names: Collis is the drummer for This Time Next Year, and Hodgson plays guitar in Delta Sleep.
Inventory come from Copenhagen and draw on the weird, playful alt-rock of the 1990s, mixing pop hooks, dissonant tension, and jazz sensibilities. After their EP Sunday Tonne came out in January 2025, they toured Denmark and the rest of Europe, including shows with Delta Sleep. They're currently working on their debut album, People Pyramids, which is due out in February 2027, so this date falls right around the time it's expected.
