A bold new dark comedy by the female-led theatre group Gut Rot Girls, blending biting humour with themes of workplace danger and loyalty.
Gut Rot Girls are bringing Organised: Crime back to The Lantern Theatre for three nights this November, after it first went out during Brighton Fringe earlier in the year. It's a dark comedy from the female-led trio, and this run is returning by popular demand, so if you missed it during the festival, you've got another chance to catch it.
The group is made up of Eve Callow-Salt, Jane Herbert and Martha Powell-Dooley, and they've pitched the show as 'Marie Kondo meets The Sopranos'. That's a fair shorthand for the plot: Agatha's Angels is a premium home-organisation service that hides a thriving criminal operation. When a routine clean-up spirals out of control, three women have to mop their way out of a deadly mess. It's built on fast-paced dialogue and twisted plot turns, and it leans into themes of workplace danger and loyalty.
