A special festival pass offering access to multiple events across Brighton throughout the month of May, celebrating Italian culture through music, theatre, and food.
Brighton is getting a dose of Italian culture throughout May with the return of the Brighton Italian Festival (BIF) Fringe. Now in its second year, the festival aims to create cultural connections across the city, blending Mediterranean influences with Brighton’s local creative scene. The programme is spread across various venues, including the Horatio Bar on the Brighton Palace Pier, the Church of St Nicholas, the Hotel Pelirocco, and local spots like Pizza 500 and Crocodile Café.

The schedule covers a mix of formats, from performance art to food-focused events. Things kick off with a launch party on 9 May, featuring live music and DJs. Throughout the month, you can catch 'Lucifero on Tour' on 9 and 10 May, or take the kids to the interactive clown show 'A Wander Fool Word' on those same dates. For music fans, the Betty Accorsi Jazz Quartet performs on 10 May, followed by the semi-interactive 'Opera Viva' on 11 May. Later in the month, there is a 'Ceramic Workshop Gagliano' on 3 May, the 'Spaghetti Disco' at Hotel Pelirocco on 28 May, and the 'I Colori del Sole' event on 31 May, which combines a Sicilian folk choir with traditional food. Additionally, Pizza 500 and Crocodile Café are running a 'Giro d'Italia' gastronomic experience all month, with regional menus that rotate weekly.
If you are planning to attend several of these, there is a pass called 'ONE FOR ALL Brighton Italian Festival 2026' available for £50. It covers access to multiple selected events and is structured to offer savings compared to buying individual tickets, which start from £5. Specific events like the 'I Colori del Sole' dinner cost £15, while the opera is £20. A practical detail to keep in mind is that the pass is not personal, meaning it can be shared with someone else if you cannot make it to a particular event. Whether you are interested in the jazz performances, the theatre shows, or just the food collaborations, the festival offers a variety of ways to engage with the programme throughout the month.
