The On The Beach series is returning to Brighton in 2026, and the biggest name announced so far is The Maccabees, headlining a day of Indie music. The band, composed of Orlando Weeks, Felix & Hugo White, Rupert Jarvis, and Sam Doyle, has a significant history, having debuted in 2005. They are well-regarded for their four studio albums, including the chart-topping Marks To Prove It, and they previously won the Ivor Novello award for their track 'Pelican' and were named Best British Band at the NME Awards in 2016.
