An award-winning dance theatre show by Thick & Tight that explores diversity through choreography, drag, satire and poetry.
Thick & Tight bring Natural Behaviour to the Corn Exchange at Brighton Dome on Tuesday 13 October, 7.30pm. It's an award-winning show from the dance theatre company, billed as a queer look at what it means to be natural or unnatural and the role diversity plays in all life.
On stage, it's a collection of performed portraits of human and non-human life forms. It sits somewhere between a variety show and a biology essay come alive, driven by the company's signature mix of dance, satire, impersonation and poetry. The reviews have been kind: The Observer called it 'deft, funny and utterly absorbing', The Guardian described it as 'rich, thoughtful, ridiculous and quite wonderful', and London Theatre called it 'a unique piece of art'.
It's recommended for ages 12 and over. It's also performed as a relaxed show, with integrated captioning and audio introductions before each piece, plus a touch tour and a pre-show access session for anyone who wants to see the space before the performance starts.
