Concert by the experimental hip-hop artist Mykki Blanco at the Concorde 2 venue in Brighton.
Mykki Blanco plays Concorde 2 on Tuesday 10 November, with special guests opening the night. For those who haven't come across them, Blanco is a New York-born queer rap artist who's built a career on blending experimental noise, club music and trap. It's a sound that doesn't sit still, and they've earned a reputation as a dynamic live performer within the experimental hip-hop scene.
They first made a name for themselves with 'Wavvy' back in 2012, and since then have worked with artists like FaltyDL, pulling from the club and noise worlds as much as from rap. That mix of dancefloor energy and experimental edge is a good way to get a sense of what they bring to the stage.
