My First Time play The Green Door Store on Monday 26 October, a Bristol-based post-pop quartet making their way down to Brighton. They describe themselves as having 'their foot firmly on the accelerator', and that energy carries into the music: infectious hooks and sharp vocal lines that take a look at the quirks of modern life, all packed into three-minute songs.
It's a bit of a curious position they're in. They haven't actually released an official single yet, but they're already starting to sell out shows, and their demos have found their way onto Radio 1 and BBC 6Music. If you've caught them on the radio, this is one of those chances to hear them live instead.
The venue is The Green Door Store, a live music space, bar and club tucked into the Undercroft of Brighton station (BN1 4FQ). It holds 250 people and has been open since January 2021, so it's a fairly recent addition to the city's music map. Being right under the station makes it easy to get to if you're coming from elsewhere, and the 250-capacity means it's a proper club-sized room rather than a tiny pub backroom.

Tickets start at £13.50 including fees, though the final price can shift depending on which agent you book through — Gigantic, Universe and Stereoboard all list it — and whether you're adding special guests. It's an over-14s event, with anyone under 16 needing to come with an adult.
