An evening of stand-up comedy raising vital funds for people living with Motor Neurone Disease, with all ticket sales supporting local Sussex MND associations.
MNDA Comedy is back in Brighton on Saturday 5 December, with a night of stand-up at Brighton College Theatre. It's part of their regular run of ticketed comedy nights across Sussex, where they bring professional circuit comics into community venues rather than keeping them on the usual city stages. The format is straightforward: a full evening of stand-up, with the ticket price going to a cause that's easy to get behind.
That cause is Motor Neurone Disease. Every pound from ticket sales goes directly to local Sussex MND associations, which support people living with the condition across the county. It's not a case of a percentage going on; the whole ticket price is passed on, so the night does double duty as a fundraiser. The nights are supported by local sponsors, including Hastings Direct, Bannatyne Hotel and Spa, and Marks and Spencer, which helps keep the overheads down and ensures more of the money reaches the associations.
