Mike and The Mechanics - Back On Track Tour

Mike and The Mechanics are playing the Brighton Dome on Thursday 17 June 2027, as part of their Back On Track Tour. The show is in the Concert Hall, and it's presented by Kennedy Street and Live Nation.

For those who only know the name, the band started in 1985 as a side project for Genesis founding member Mike Rutherford. In the early days, Paul Young and Paul Carrack shared the front, and the group went on to score number ones around the world and sell more than 10 million albums. The songs that built their following are the ones you'll likely recognise: 'Silent Running', 'All I Need Is a Miracle', 'Taken In', 'The Living Years', 'Word of Mouth' and 'Over My Shoulder'.

There was a break between 2005 and 2010, after which Rutherford brought the band back with Andrew Roachford, Tim Howar, Luke Juby, Anthony Drennan and Gary Wallis. Since then they've released three albums, two of which reached the UK top 10, and played 374 shows together. Drummer Nic Collins joined in 2023, stepping in for Gary Wallis. Their live work has caught the attention of the press, with The Telegraph saying their last Royal Albert Hall date 'caught fire magnificently' and The Northern Echo calling their Newcastle concert 'exemplary'.

Tickets are £78.50 and £63.50, and Brighton Dome and Brighton Festival members save £2 on full-price tickets. The show starts at 7.30pm, with doors opening at 6.45pm, at the Concert Hall, Brighton Dome, 29 New Road.
