Ska gig featuring the Meow Meows, supported by Hakuna Pesa and the Family of Strangers at The Prince Albert.
Meow Meows are back at The Prince Albert on Saturday 29 May, with Hakuna Pesa and Family of Strangers on the bill. It's a ska night, and the Albert is billing it as a return to the 'soulful ska genius' of the Meow Meows.
They're not coming alone. Hakuna Pesa, who play urban ska punk, take one of the support slots, and the other goes to Brighton's own punkers, Family of Strangers. So you've got the Meow Meows' ska at the centre, urban ska punk on one side and local punk on the other — it's a fair bit of ground to cover before the headliners even get on.
There's a bit of history to the pairing, too. The Prince Albert notes that the Meow Meows have sold out every show they've played there, so if you're planning to go, it's worth getting your tickets sorted rather than leaving it to the night.

It starts at 19:30 at The Prince Albert, 48 Trafalgar Street, BN1 4ED. Tickets are £13.00 standard, though that's a guide price and subject to change.
