Stand-up show by comedian Matt Richardson, with a non-stop hour of his loud and unfiltered style, at Komedia Basement.
Matt Richardson brings his stand-up show Bit Much Mate to Komedia on Wednesday 20 October 2027. It's a full hour of stand-up, and he's billing it as non-stop, high-octane, honest, chaotic and very Matt.
If you've come across him online, you'll recognise the style. Richardson is a Didcot-born comedian and presenter whose loud, brazen and unfiltered approach has landed him more than 100 million views across the web. He runs the Another Good Question series on TikTok, and his TV work is just as varied: Nevermind The Buzzcocks, Love Island Aftersun, Drunk History and Celebrity Coach Trip are all part of the same run. The Mirror described his stand-up as "hilarious and charming", and he picked up the Chortle Student Comedy Award in 2010, the same year he was a finalist in So You Think You're Funny?.
Bit Much Mate is a solo hour, so it's just him on stage for the full sixty minutes. He's known for that loud, unfiltered energy, and the description suggests this one leans right into it. It's a good shout if you're in the mood for something high-energy rather than a slow burn.
