Madam Lola's Presents: The Hot Flush

Madam Lola's presents The Hot Flush at Madam Lola's Cabaret And Vaudeville on Thursday 3 September, a women's comedy variety night with a single rule: no blokes, just jokes. It's billed as a sizzling night for femmes and them, and the format is aimed squarely at comedy fans and stand-up enthusiasts looking for a dedicated session of variety on a night where the stage is reserved exclusively for women.

As a variety night, it doesn't stick to one thing. You'll get curated laughs and sharp wit from seasoned performers, with the line-up bringing together a mix of local and national comedy and variety. The whole thing is put together by Madam Lola's, so it's a curated bill rather than a random collection of acts. The focus is on the comedy, though, and the 'no blokes' rule is the one thing that runs through the entire evening.

It's a night for people who like their comedy in a variety format — a few different acts rather than one long set — and who want to see a stage shared only by women. If you're into stand-up and variety, this is a dedicated session of it. The show starts at 6:00 pm at Madam Lola's Cabaret And Vaudeville, 83 St. Georges Road, Brighton and Hove.
