Mentalism and magic show by Luke O'Hara with compere Lee Peart, exploring how memories can be altered to make you believe you've witnessed the impossible.
Luke O'Hara brings The Cards We Are Dealt to Komedia Studio on Wednesday 10 March 2027, for an evening of mind-reading and magic. It's a show built on sixteen years of performing for audiences, and O'Hara draws on a few specific skill sets to pull it off: subliminal suggestion, memorisation, and the kind of methods that make people believe they're witnessing real magic. The whole thing is framed around the idea that memories can be altered to make you believe you've seen the impossible, so the tricks are as much about how you remember them as what actually happens on stage.
He's not on his own for the night. The show is hosted by compere Lee Peart, who's been described by reviewers as warm, funny and possessing a sharp eye for detail. Between the two of them, you've got the magic and the hosting handled, and the evening runs as a single bill rather than a series of separate acts.

On the practical side, it's an unreserved seating night, so you'll just take whatever's free when you arrive. The show is recommended for ages 9 and over, and under-16s need to be accompanied by an adult, which makes it a decent shout for a family outing if you've got older kids. Doors open at 7:00 pm and the show starts at 7:30 pm at Komedia Studio, 44-47 Gardner Street, Brighton, BN1 1UN.
