Live performance by the Afro and melodic house duo Lukas & Frank, featuring live saxophone and cello.
Lukas & Frank play Brighton on Saturday 13 March, presented by Gotobeat. They're an Afro and melodic house duo who formed in late 2024 and have already pulled in around 1.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
What sets them apart from a standard DJ set is how they treat the booth: they turn it into a live stage, weaving saxophone and cello straight into their sets. One is a classically trained clarinettist turned sax player; the other a rock-and-techno kid channelling it all through a cello. They describe the resulting Sax & Cello sets as concert feeling meets club energy, and Gotobeat bills them as an Afro house sensation.

So, on the night, you'll get the house beats they're known for, but with the saxophone and cello played live on top rather than just sampled in. It's that combination of the two that puts them in the Afro house space, and the live instruments are what they're building the show around. The Brighton date is on 13 March.
