A premier jazz, soul, and funk festival featuring a full Friday programme curated by Ezra Collective under the 'Temple Of Joy' concept, including Samara Joy and Kokoroko.
The Love Supreme Festival is returning to Glynde Place in East Sussex from the 3rd to the 5th of July 2026. For those who regularly make the short trip from Brighton, there is a significant update to the schedule this year. For the first time, Friday, 3rd July, will host a full programme of music on the main stage. This opening day is being curated by Ezra Collective, the Mercury Prize and Brit Award winners, who have developed a concept they’re calling ‘Temple Of Joy’. It marks a shift in how the festival begins, moving away from the more gradual start of previous editions.

The line-up for that first day includes a mix of high-profile international artists and key figures from the UK scene. Samara Joy, who has recently collected five Grammy awards, is among the headliners for the Friday, alongside the double MOBO-winning drummer Moses Boyd. The bill also features the Afrobeat-influenced sounds of Kokoroko, as well as sets from DJ Luke Una and Annie & The Caldwells. This selection continues the festival's tradition of blending jazz, soul, and funk, much like the 2025 edition which saw performances from Jacob Collier, Maxwell, and The Roots, as well as legacy acts like Smokey Robinson and En Vogue.
Because the event is held on the grounds of an Elizabethan country house, the atmosphere is generally more laid-back than many other summer festivals. It tends to draw a crowd that appreciates a boutique setting, often attracting a mix of serious music enthusiasts and local families. Practicalities-wise, tickets are already on sale, including the usual Early Bird tiers. While prices for 2026 depend on the specific access chosen, entry in previous years has started at approximately £68. With the expansion of the Friday schedule into a full day of main-stage performances, the festival now offers a more comprehensive three-day experience for those planning their summer calendar.
