Concert by the UK tribute band Lizzie & The Banshees, recreating the sound of Siouxsie and the Banshees.
Lizzie and the Banshees play the Brighton Prince Albert on Friday 23 April 2027, with the night starting at 19:00. They're a tribute to Siouxsie and the Banshees, and they've been at it since they formed in the UK back in 2012. They bill themselves as the premier tribute to the original band, and they've spent the years since then recreating the post-punk and gothic rock sound, look and raw intensity that Siouxsie and the Banshees built. It's a set that leans into the songs most people recognise from the original records, and they've toured across the UK and Europe with it.
Among the songs they play are 'Spellbound' and 'Hong Kong Garden', two of the most well-known tracks from the Banshees' catalogue. The whole thing is presented by Stigmata, and it's a night that works just as well if you've followed the original band for years as it does if you're coming to these songs for the first time. The Prince Albert is on Trafalgar Street, so it's easy enough to get to from the centre of town.

If you're familiar with the Banshees, you'll know the sound they're aiming for: the jagged guitars, the driving bass, and that particular gothic rock edge. Lizzie and the Banshees have built their act around that, and they've been playing it live across the UK and Europe since they started. The show is presented by Stigmata, and it runs from 19:00 at the Brighton Prince Albert, 48 Trafalgar Street, Brighton and Hove.
