If you have been keeping an eye on the local music scene, you might have noticed that the band Lime is scheduled to perform at The Hope & Ruin on June 11, 2026. This particular group has an interesting history, having originally formed in the early 90s before parting ways in 1995. After a long hiatus, they reunited in 2024, bringing their sound back to the stage. For those familiar with the music circuit of that era, they were known for sharing bills with acts like Reef, Kula Shaker, Katrina And The Waves, The Frames, and Toploader.

It is worth noting that there are a few bands with similar names, so it is easy to get them mixed up. To be clear, this is the rock band from the 90s, not the Canadian disco group that was active between 1980 and 2002, nor is it the band Lime Garden, which has also appeared in local Brighton news in the past. This performance is specifically for the reunited rock outfit.
