Concert by grime artist Lady Leshurr celebrating the 10th anniversary of her album 'The Queen's Speech' at the Patterns venue.
Lady Leshurr brings her autumn tour to Patterns on Friday 30 October, with the night built around the tenth anniversary of The Queen's Speech. It's presented by Gotobeat, and the show runs from 19:00 to 22:00.
For those who know her as Lady Leshurr, the name comes from Malesha O'Garro, a rapper and producer from Birmingham. She first started recording in the early 2000s, with mixtapes as her main format, and has spent the years since refining a wordplay that's often fast and always sharp. Her sound draws on the UK garage and grime that came out of the scene she grew up in, so the set will sit right in that grime and rap territory.
The Queen's Speech was the series that put her on the map, and this tour marks ten years since it first dropped. The Brighton date is part of a wider autumn run, so it's one of several stops she's making across the country to mark the anniversary.
