DJ L.P. Rhythm brings his love of the golden era of 90s house music to the dancefloor at Quarters.
L.P. Rhythm is taking over Quarters on Saturday 26 September, with the night running from 23:00 until 05:00. He's bringing his love for the golden era of 90s house to the dancefloor, and the set is rooted in the warmth, groove and character of classic house while keeping things fresh and distinctly his own.
His sound draws on the records that shaped the genre: soulful samples, rolling basslines, dusty drums and infectious hooks. It's the kind of house that works as well for a long night as it does for a few hours, and he's got the track record to back it up. He's released on labels including 360, Demi Delicious and PIV Club, and has played some of Ibiza and Amsterdam's most renowned clubs, establishing him as a serious selector and DJ.
Quarters is Brighton's new cultural HQ, housed beneath the historic arches that once held the iconic Zap and The Arch. It builds on decades of local club culture to offer quality sound and bold programming, so it's a fitting spot for a night that looks back at the 90s while keeping things current.
