British psychedelic rock band Kula Shaker performs at Concorde 2 as part of their tour promoting the new album 'Wormslayer'.
Kula Shaker, the band known for blending Britpop with 60s folk-pop, 70s prog-psych, and distinctive Eastern influences, is set to return to Brighton early next month. This time around, the band will be playing at Concorde 2 on Saturday, February 7, 2026. The show is scheduled to kick off at 6:00 PM. This gig is part of the tour supporting their upcoming album, ‘Wormslayer’, which is slated for release just before the concert on January 30, 2026. Fans have already gotten a preview of the new material with the single ‘Good Money’.

For those planning to attend, the event is ticketed. The initial ticket sales process involved a presale that began on Thursday, September 18, at 9:30 a.m., followed by the general sale starting the next day, Friday, September 19, also at 9:30 a.m. Kula Shaker has a reputation for delivering what has been described as 'implacably energetic' performances, drawing on their unique sound that appeals strongly to fans of rock, indie, and alternative music.
Speaking of their history in the city, Kula Shaker was last here relatively recently, playing at Chalk, Brighton, on January 31, 2023. That previous show gives a good indication of the kind of evening attendees can expect. During the 2023 concert, the duo Blue Violet (Sam and Sarah Gotley) opened the night, providing a solid set characterized by their 'beautifully dark/sweet' vocals, notably featuring the song ‘Halo’. The setlist from that night was a mix of new and old, featuring classics like ‘Hey Dude’, ‘Tattva’, ‘Infinite Sun’, and the cover of Joe South’s ‘Hush’. They closed the main set with ‘Sound Of Drums’ and returned for an encore that included the John Lennon cover ‘Gimme Some Truth’ and the fan favorite ‘Govinda’. This context suggests that the upcoming Concorde 2 show will likely balance the promotion of ‘Wormslayer’ with the delivery of their established hits.
