Kula Shaker, with the original line-up intact, play the Brighton Dome for their first UK tour in six years, supporting their new double album.
Kula Shaker play the Brighton Dome on Saturday 13 March 2027, part of their first UK tour in six years. The show is presented by JOY and runs with support.
They're out supporting their new album, 1st Congregational Church Of Eternal Love and Free Hugs, which the organisers describe as their most inspired work in years. It's a double album, fifteen songs in total, and they've billed it as being energised by cross-genre sonics. If you've followed them from the start, it's a fair bit of new ground to cover in one go.
The band takes its name from a ninth-century Indian poet king, and they've spent their career working the edges of the rock and roll spectrum. They're one of the few artists to have headlined Glastonbury twice in the same weekend, and their debut was one of the fastest-selling double-Platinum records of its time, followed by a run of Top 10 singles. They also opened for Oasis at their Knebworth shows. One thing that hasn't changed: the original line-up is still intact, and the members are still best friends.
