Live drum and bass performance by Keeno and Vibre Strings, featuring a grand piano and string quartet, strictly over 18s.
Keeno LIVE ft. Vibre Strings comes to Concorde 2 on Saturday 10 April, with Keeno and Vio.let on the bill. It's a live show that pairs a grand piano with a string quartet, and they describe the whole thing as an evening of live, liquid, orchestral drum & bass.
If that sounds like a strange combination, it's worth knowing where this particular run comes from. Keeno sold out XOYO and Lost Horizon five months early, and headlined the Nexus Stage at Boomtown, so this is a show that's been playing to big rooms before it lands here. The format puts the piano and the strings right at the front, and the drum & bass provides the drive underneath. It's liquid, as they put it, so it'll be the melodic, atmospheric side of the genre rather than the heavy stuff.
