Brazilian punk rock singer and guitarist Karen Dió performs live on her Fugaz UK headline tour at The Green Door Store.
Karen Dió plays The Green Door Store on Saturday 12 September, part of a select four-date UK tour presented by Full Fat Promotions and Sugar-Free Presents. It's her first Brighton headline show, and it comes on the back of a busy couple of years that have seen her move from support slots to her own bills.
She's touring the Fugaz EP, which is due out on 21 August, with the lead single 'Free Yourself' already out. The set will draw from that, and from the material that came before it. 2024 was a big one for her: three singles — 'Sick Ride', 'Stupid' and '3am' — followed by the six-track EP My World, and then 'Bexy', which came out this March. She's been building a fair bit of momentum since then, and Fugaz is the next chapter.
She's a Brazilian punk rocker, and she's open about where she's coming from — she's described herself as wanting to shine a light on Brazil's punk rock scene on a global scale. That background sits alongside some big names: she's backed by Hopeless Records, and her label-mates include Sum 41, Incubus, KennyHoopla and Fred Durst.

Brighton has become a regular stop for her. She made her debut here at Concorde 2 on 7 November 2024, when she supported Wargasm. In 2025, she supported Limp Bizkit on their Loserville tour, and later returned to the city at The Hope & Ruin ahead of the 'Casual' / 'I Wanna Be' single. She also played The Great Escape, filling a full Volks venue on 16 May. This is the first time she's headlining a Brighton room.
Support acts are still to be announced, so it'll be a full night rather than just a single set. Tickets are £15, and the show starts at 7:00 PM.
