Jon Anderson, the lead vocalist and creative force behind the band Yes, is scheduled to perform at the Brighton Dome on 6 September 2026. This concert is part of his 'YES Epics, Classics & More' tour, where he is joined by The Band Geeks. This group, led by Richie Castellano of Blue Öyster Cult, has built a reputation for their detailed recreations of classic rock music, including tracks by Queen, Toto, and Black Sabbath. Anderson’s career includes significant contributions to albums such as 'Fragile', 'Awaken', and 'Close to The Edge', alongside co-writing tracks like 'Roundabout' and 'Owner Of A Lonely Heart'. Beyond his work with Yes, he has released solo projects like 'Olias of Sunhillow' and '1000 Hands', and collaborated with musicians such as Vangelis and Kitaro. The Band Geeks accompanying him consist of Richie Castellano on bass and guitar, Chris Clark on keyboards, Andy Ascolese on drums, Phil Castellano on keyboards and guitar, and Matt Beck Graziano on guitar.
The event takes place at the Brighton Dome, located on Church Street. Doors are set to open at 18:45, with the performance beginning at 19:30 and expected to finish by 23:00.
