Dark cabaret and drag show by Joe Black with special guests Arran Shurvinton and Rococo Chanel, mixing songs, striptease, stories and holiday party tricks.
Joe Black is back at Komedia Studio on Friday 18 December with Joe Black & Friends: A Not Completely Christmas Kabarett. He's a drag performer and dark cabaret artist who titles his shows Kleines Kabarett, and his work is described as nightmarish manifestations of dark cabaret and drag. He hosts and performs across the UK and Europe, often with special guests, and has toured with acts like The Dresden Dolls.
For this one, he's bringing along Arran Shurvinton and Rococo Chanel. The night is billed as a 'not completely Christmas' Kabarett, and it's built around songs, striptease, stories and, for those who've been good this year, some special holiday party tricks and treats. The caveat is that not all the cheer is specifically festive, so it's not your usual tinsel-and-carols affair.
