DJ Jo Whiley spins the best songs from the 1990s in a personal tour through the decade's greatest music.
Jo Whiley brings her 90s Anthems night to Concorde 2 on Friday 4 December, starting at 7:30pm. It's a DJ set rather than a live performance, with Whiley spinning the best songs from the 1990s.
Whiley is billed as the ultimate authority on British music and the voice and face of a generation. The night is framed as her own personal tour through the decade, which the organisers call music's greatest. She was right there on the cutting edge as Britpop blew up, dance music exploded and indie went wild, so the set draws on that first-hand connection to the era.
The Brighton date is part of a national tour taking in venues across the UK, from the O2 Academy in Bristol and Leicester to the York Barbican, the Winter Garden in Eastbourne and the Albert Hall in Manchester. It's one of the few times the show will be playing in the south east, with the Eastbourne date being the closest other stop.
