Club night with 90s anthems from Blur, Fatboy Slim, The Prodigy and more, presented by Jo Whiley.
Jo Whiley is taking over Concorde 2 on Friday 29 January for a night dedicated to 90s anthems. It's a club night rather than a live gig, with Whiley on the decks, and the whole thing is built around the decade's biggest musical clashes and acts. The floor will be filled with the sound of Blur vs Oasis, Fatboy Slim, Primal Scream, The Verve, The Chemical Brothers, Faithless and The Prodigy, so it's a broad sweep of the era's guitar bands and dancefloor fillers rather than one specific corner of it.
Concorde 2 is the seafront venue that programmes the night, and the music is strictly over-18s. If you're into that particular stretch of Britpop and big-beat dance, it's a decent way to spend a Friday night in Brighton.
