James Blunt

James Blunt plays The Brighton Centre on Thursday 8 April 2027, starting at 6:30 pm. It's a pop and rock night, with Blunt as the sole name on the bill.

If you've only ever known him as the voice behind 'You're Beautiful', there's a bit more to the story. Born in Tidworth, Wiltshire, Blunt is a contemporary soft rock singer-songwriter who spent time as a captain in the British Army before music took over. 'You're Beautiful' came from Back to Bedlam, his 2004 breakthrough, and the album went on to become the UK's top-selling record of 2005. That's the one most people associate him with, and it's the song that put him on the map.

Since then, he's built a career around that same soft rock sound, and this show is billed as a pop and rock night, so you'll get that side of his work on display. It's a straightforward headline set, with Blunt taking the stage at The Brighton Centre on Kings Road.

There are a few practical things to keep in mind before you book. There's a limit of eight tickets per person and per household, so if you're sorting a big group, you'll need to coordinate. Under-14s have to be accompanied by an adult over 18, and they aren't allowed in the standing area, so if you're bringing younger ones, you'll want to look at seated tickets. The show starts at 6:30 pm at The Brighton Centre, Kings Rd, Brighton BN1 2GR.
