Acclaimed comedian James Acaster performs his brand new show for three nights at the Brighton Dome Concert Hall.
James Acaster is heading back to the Brighton Dome Concert Hall in the summer of 2026, taking over the venue for three nights from Tuesday 2nd June to Thursday 4th June. He’s bringing a completely new show this time around, which follows his previous run of five consecutive nominations for Best Comedy Show at the Edinburgh Fringe. For those of us who keep an eye on the local calendar, having a three-night stint at the Dome is a significant fixture for the city's comedy scene, especially with the venue being so central on Church Street. It’s a brand-new show, so it’s the first chance to see this specific material since the tour was announced back in November.

The timings are quite consistent for the Dome: doors open at 18:45 and the show starts at 19:30. Tickets are priced at £30.00, and there’s a limit of six per person to try and keep things fair for everyone wanting to go. If you’re looking for the accessible performance, the show on Thursday 4th June will have live captioning. The venue holds about 1,860 people, but since it’s a new tour, there’s already advice to look into waiting lists if the dates sell out. It’s worth noting that the show is recommended for anyone aged 14 and up, so it’s a bit more inclusive than some of the other comedy nights we get in town.
The Brighton Dome (BN1 1UE) is easy enough to get to, and since the dates fall on a Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, it’s a solid mid-week option for June. It’s a straightforward chance to see his new material in a familiar setting without having to travel out of the city. The tour is quite extensive across the UK, but having three nights here means there are a few more opportunities to find a seat. Whether you're a regular at the Dome or just looking for something to do on a weeknight, the details are all confirmed for the start of the summer season.
