Isthmian League: Whitehawk Vs Carshalton Athletic

Whitehawk take on Carshalton Athletic at the McLaren Enclosed Ground on Saturday 27 March, a Premier Division fixture in the Isthmian League. Kick-off is at 15:00, and the match runs until about 16:30, so it's a proper Saturday afternoon one.

For those who don't follow the non-league pyramid closely, the Isthmian League Premier Division is the top flight of a competition that's been running for 112 seasons. It sits at Step 3 of the National League System, with the North, South Central and South East divisions below it at Step 4. The league is currently known as the 'Pitching In League' through a sponsorship deal with Entain, which you might know better as GVC Holdings. It's been seven seasons since the old South Division was split into those two regional divisions, so the setup we're seeing now has a few years under its belt.

Whitehawk are the home side here, and the match takes place at the McLaren Enclosed Ground, also known as the TerraPura Ground East, on Wilson Avenue in Brighton (BN2 5TS). It's a Premier Division clash, meaning both sides are competing at the highest level the league offers. If you're heading down, it's a mid-afternoon kick-off on a Saturday in late March, so it's a good one to build a day around.
