Isthmian League Premier Division football fixture between Whitehawk and Aveley at the McLaren Enclosed Ground.
Whitehawk take on Aveley at the McLaren Enclosed Ground on Saturday 3 April, a Premier Division fixture in the Isthmian League. It's a home game for Whitehawk, who'll be hosting the Essex side on their own turf in the east of the city.
The ground itself goes by a couple of names. You'll see it listed as the McLaren Enclosed Ground, but it's also known as the TerraPura Ground East, and it sits on Wilson Avenue in Brighton. It's got a capacity of 2,000, so there's plenty of room to get close to the action without it feeling like a squeeze. If you're coming from the city centre, it's a bit of a trek out to the east end, so give yourself a bit of time to get there.
As for the football, it's a standard Isthmian League Premier Division clash, with Whitehawk playing at home and Aveley making the trip down from Essex. Both sides are competing in the same division, so it's a direct head-to-head in the league table. Kick-off is at 16:00, and the match is scheduled to run until about 17:30, which puts it right in the middle of a Saturday afternoon.
