A four-day Latin dance festival featuring salsa, bachata and kizomba classes, social dancing and shows at Marina Studios in Brighton.
Brighton is hosting the International SBK Festival from May 21 to 24, 2026, at Marina Studios. This four-day event is dedicated to salsa, bachata, and kizomba, and is organised by Salsa Zone and Brighton Fiesta Latino. It is structured to be accessible for everyone, from those just starting out to more experienced dancers, and you do not need to arrive with a partner to participate. The festival aims to provide a space for the local dance community and visitors to engage with these styles through a mix of structured learning and social environments.

The programme consists of 33 classes, and participants have the opportunity to join up to eleven of these sessions over the course of the four days. The schedule begins on Thursday with doors opening at 19:00. From Friday through to Sunday, the venue opens at 13:00, with classes running throughout the afternoon and social dancing continuing in three separate rooms until midnight. Alongside the dancing, there are shows and entertainment scheduled throughout the event. If you are planning to attend, it is worth noting that you are permitted to bring your own drinks, including alcohol, and the venue provides free drinking water. As Brighton is a busy destination, particularly in late May, it is advisable to secure your accommodation well in advance to avoid any issues with availability.
Pricing for the festival is tiered based on the date of purchase. A Full Pass is priced at 65 GBP for those who book by February 28. For bookings made between March 1 and May 10, the price is 75 GBP. This increases to 80 GBP for tickets purchased from May 11 to 20, and finally to 90 GBP for those buying their passes during the festival itself, from May 21 to 24. For those who are interested in the social aspect rather than the classes, there are tickets available specifically for the social dancing sessions, with prices ranging from 10 GBP to 40 GBP. This structure allows for some flexibility depending on how much of the festival programme you intend to experience.
