A club night built around the music of Sam Fender, with indie rock tunes, vinyl giveaways and discounted drinks.
DUST is taking over Club Fender on Saturday 7 November, with the night built around the music of Sam Fender. It's an 18+ event, and the hook is a Sam Fender tune dropped every twenty minutes, played alongside the biggest indie bangers and what the promoters call 'biblical tunes'.
Between the Fender tracks, the DJ will be working through the indie rock that's been filling dancefloors for years, so you'll get the big, singalong indie hits that usually turn a room like this into a proper night out. The Fender songs act as the anchor, coming back around every twenty minutes to keep the focus where it is, while the rest of the set fills in the gaps with the indie bangers you already know. It's less of a tribute act and more of a club night that happens to be obsessed with one particular songwriter.
There's a bit more to it than just the music, too. The room will have a Sam Fender cutout for the photos, and there are vinyl giveaways running throughout the night, so if you're into records, it's worth keeping an eye on what's being handed out. The bar is running its own specials, too: five bombs for £5 and pints for £2.50, which should keep the drinks going without breaking the bank.
