A festive end-of-term party with roast potatoes, candy canes and indie and Christmas music, running into the early hours.
Indie Rock Night is taking over Dust Brighton on Saturday 12 December, billed as a festive end-of-term party. It's a late one, starting at 23:00 and running well into the early hours of Sunday morning, so it's more of a night out than a quick trip in and out.
The music is the main thing here: an all-night selection of indie and Christmas tracks. It's a broad mix, with the indie side of things sitting alongside the seasonal stuff, and the two running together throughout the night. If you're into indie, you'll find plenty of that; if you're in the mood for Christmas music, you'll get that too, and the set doesn't stop for either.
It's not just about the music, though. The night leans into holiday traditions as much as the songs: roast potatoes, Santa hats and candy canes are part of the setup, so it's a bit of a full-on Christmas party rather than just a DJ set. If you're coming from a term at uni or school, the end-of-term framing fits right in.
