A night of indie rock music featuring Fontaines DC and a wide selection of tracks from Arctic Monkeys, The 1975, Blur and more, with drinks and giveaways.
Indie Rock Night comes to DUST on Saturday 17 October, starting at 22:00 and running through to Sunday morning. The whole night is built around Fontaines' new album, with their hits playing alongside a wider selection of indie, pop rock and guilty-pleasure bangers.
That wider selection covers a lot of ground. The organisers have listed Arctic Monkeys, Oasis, The Strokes, The 1975, Blur, Franz Ferdinand, Muse, The White Stripes, The Clash, Coldplay, The Cure, The Smiths, Florence & the Machine, M.I.A., Lorde, Harry Styles and Lana Del Rey. It's a broad sweep of indie and pop from the last few decades, so the music should keep shifting throughout the night.
There's more to it than just the playlist. The room is rounded off with cardboard cutout giveaways, a vinyl + grain chat and 'fontaines shades'. On the bar, you'll find five bombs for £5 and £2.50 pints. The event is strictly 18+.
