An intimate evening celebrating the legacy of John Lennon, featuring Tyson Kelly, acclaimed for his portrayal of Lennon in 'Let It Be'.
Brighton is setting the stage for a sophisticated musical evening next year. On Friday, April 24, 2026, Concorde 2 on Madeira Drive will host Imagine Lennon, an intimate event celebrating the enduring legacy of John Lennon. The focus of the evening is the performer, Tyson Kelly, an artist who has dedicated over 15 years to embodying the iconic musician. Kelly is already internationally acclaimed for his impactful interpretation, having played Lennon in Broadway’s Let It Be and also with the UK’s number one tribute, The Bootleg Beatles. This extensive experience means Kelly brings a notable level of authenticity to the role, possessing the rare combination of natural vocal timbre, talent, and visual resemblance that discerning fans look for in a tribute performance.

The show itself is structured as an elegant journey through Lennon’s brilliant music, spanning his career from the early days of ‘Please Please Me’ right up to his final work, ‘Double Fantasy’. The repertoire promises a wide selection, including ten years of solo hits and a collection of carefully chosen B-sides that dedicated fans will appreciate. Kelly doesn't perform alone; he is backed by a five-piece band to bring the full sound to life. It’s worth noting that Kelly’s deep connection to music runs in the family—his father, Tom Kelly, co-wrote iconic tracks like ‘Like a Virgin’ and ‘True Colors’—which perhaps explains the deeply personal approach he brings to interpreting Lennon’s artistry and composition.
If you are planning to go, the show starts at 19:00 (7:00 pm). Tickets are priced at £25.00 plus any booking fees. Concorde 2 has set an age restriction for this event: it is open to those 14 years and older, but anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult (18+). This event is clearly aimed at serious Beatles enthusiasts and those who appreciate timeless songwriting, offering a detailed and authentic look back at one of music’s most influential figures right here in Brighton.
