Stand-up comedy show by Ignacio Lopez, star of Live At The Apollo, QI and Richard Osman's House of Games.
Ignacio Lopez brings his new show Nada to the Komedia Basement on Wednesday 25 November, part of his 2026 tour. He's a Spanish and Welsh stand-up based in Cardiff, and he bills himself as 'Spain's Best Export'. His parents are Welsh/Irish and Moroccan/Spanish, and he has a German sister — a mix that comes through in the material.
Nada is his most ambitious project so far. He builds the show in front of the audience from nothing, mining his upbringing in Mallorca and South Wales alongside crowd suggestions. He's staging a different show in every city, so no two performances are the same.
Lopez has been performing since 2010. He was a contestant on the 2011 ITV series Show Me The Funny and has become a regular at the Edinburgh Fringe, with shows including EspañYOLO (2019), El Cómico (2022) and Señor Self-Destruct (2024). He's headlined sold-out UK tours and comedy clubs across the UK and Europe, and has appeared on Live At The Apollo, Have I Got News For You, QI, Richard Osman's House of Games and Comedy Central Live. During the pandemic he focused on online comedy, gathering over 20 million views across social media.
