The annual Homegrown Festival returns to Brighton on 11th April 2026, celebrating the local music scene across nine grassroots venues, featuring a diverse range of genres.
The Homegrown Festival is making its return to Brighton on Saturday, April 11, 2026. This event is all about celebrating our local music scene, acting as a collaboration between several of the city's 'grass roots' venues. It’s designed to showcase the best local talent, supporting both emerging bands and the venues themselves. It’s worth noting that this festival has a good track record; it only debuted in 2024 but that first edition managed to sell out completely. If you’re planning on making a full day of it, the music kicks off at 14:30 and runs late, wrapping up around 02:00 the following morning.

For the 2026 edition, the festival is spreading across nine different locations, keeping the multi-venue format going strong. The confirmed spots are a solid mix of Brighton favourites: Alphabet (a new addition this year), Daltons, The Folklore Rooms, Green Door Store, The Hope & Ruin, The Pipeline, The Prince Albert, Revenge, and the Rossi Bar. Since this is definitely an evening for adults, remember there is an 18+ restriction in place. If you want to grab tickets early, they are currently available for £20 plus fees.
If previous years are anything to go by, you can expect a massive amount of music packed into the day. The 2025 event featured over 60 bands and artists, covering a really diverse range of genres—historically including everything from punk and indie to soul and shoegaze. Just to give you an idea of the calibre of acts they pull in, past performers have included names like Snayx, Hot Wax, The New Eves, School Disco, and Gaff Tape Sandy. The first announcement regarding the 2026 lineup is expected soon, so keep an eye out for which local heroes will be taking the stage this year.
