Spoken word sets from poets Hollie McNish and Harry Baker at the Brighton Dome.
If you are looking for something a bit different to do in Brighton this November, poets Hollie McNish and Harry Baker are bringing their spoken word show to the Brighton Dome. They are marking ten years of friendship with these performances, where they will be reading from their latest collections alongside some of their more established work. It is a chance to see both of them sharing the stage, and the show is scheduled for two nights: Thursday, 26 November and Friday, 27 November 2026.

Both performances are set to start at 19:30, with the doors opening a bit earlier at 18:45. The event is taking place in the Corn Exchange at the Brighton Dome. If you are curious about the tone of the evening, the material covers a wide range of topics—everything from sunflowers and croissants to wolves, wellies, myths, and mashed potato. There is also a book signing session planned for after the show, so if you are a fan of their writing, that is when you will have the chance to get copies signed.
Regarding the logistics, the venue has set the age recommendation at 14 and over, and there is an adult content warning attached to the show. It is the kind of event that works well if you are heading out with a partner, a group of friends, or even as a family outing with older teenagers. Tickets are priced at £18.00 for standard entry, with a reduced rate of £15.00 for those under 30, and a £11.00 concession ticket available for those on low incomes. Just keep in mind that there is a £3.50 booking fee per order, though this does not apply if you are a Brighton Dome member.
