Two-piece band Hermanos GutiƩrrez, influenced by 1950s Latin American sound, live at Brighton Dome.
Hermanos GutiƩrrez play the Brighton Dome Corn Exchange on Monday 8 March 2027, with doors opening at 19:00. They're the main act, and they'll be joined by special guests.
If you've not come across them yet, the name gives it away: they're a two-piece formed by brothers Alejandro and Estevan GutiƩrrez. Their sound draws on 1950s Latin American music, and they build their songs around slow, spacious arrangements that they describe as carrying the listener across imagined landscapes. It's instrumental music that leaves plenty of room to breathe, so it's the kind of thing you can really settle into rather than something to have on in the background.
Because it's just the two of them on stage, the focus stays on the guitars and the space between the notes. That's a good thing to keep in mind when you're thinking about the night: it's a quieter, more atmospheric set than a typical loud gig, so it's more about listening in than anything else.
