The main feature is the project of Franco-Swedish artist David Ivar, Herman Dune, who is embarking on what he calls a 'heroic solo tour' across Europe and the UK. This tour is focused on presenting material from his upcoming album, Odysseús, which is scheduled for release in June 2025. David Ivar’s sound is deeply rooted in the anti-folk tradition, drawing clear inspiration from the greats of folk and country—think Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Townes Van Zandt, and John Prine—while also touching on the intimacy of indie-folk artists like Elliot Smith and Lucinda Williams. With fifteen albums already under his belt, he brings a substantial and well-defined catalog to the stage.
Joining him for the evening is support act Hayley Savage, a singer-songwriter and guitarist whose work blends folk and Americana. She is known for her rich vocals, strong storytelling, and creating a genuinely intimate atmosphere during her performances. Regarding the logistics for the night, the show is held in the Komedia Basement, and seating is unreserved, so it’s a good idea to arrive promptly if you have a preferred spot. It’s also worth noting that this is an event for ages 14 and up, and anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
