A winter concert with festive choral music, pop anthems and carols from Brighton and Hove's largest LGBTQ+ choir, with BSL interpretation.
Rainbow Chorus are back at St George's Church on Saturday 12 December for their winter concert, Hark! The Rainbow Chorus Sing. It's a festive choral evening that runs from 18:30 to 22:00, and as the name suggests, the programme mixes traditional carols with pop anthems and festive choral works. The whole thing is hosted by Musical Director Aneesa Chaudhry, with Adrian Ward on piano.
For those who don't know them, Rainbow Chorus is Brighton and Hove's largest LGBTQ+ SATB choir — SATB meaning soprano, alto, tenor, and bass, so they've got the full range of voices to work with. This is a fundraising concert, and 100% of the proceeds go to the charity's mission, so your ticket goes straight back into the choir's work. The evening doesn't end when the singing stops, either: there's a festive hamper raffle to get stuck into, and mulled wine and refreshments available at the bar. The whole performance is BSL interpreted.
